Booking & Payment
- A deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.
- For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Guest Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the arrival date will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the arrival date will receive a refund of 50% of the total booking value.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the arrival date, including no-shows and early departures, are non-refundable.
Any refund due will be made to the original payment method.
Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to obtain suitable travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, travel disruption, adverse weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances that may affect their stay.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £250 may be required prior to arrival.
The security deposit will be returned within 5 working days of departure, subject to:
- No damage to the property, furnishings, fixtures, or contents.
- No excessive cleaning requirements.
- No breach of these terms or the house rules.
- Return of all keys and access devices provided.
The cost of any damage, loss, replacement items, additional cleaning, or breach of these terms may be deducted from the security deposit.
House Rules
- Check-in is from 3:00 pm onwards on the day of arrival.
- Check-out is by 10:00 am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The lead guest must be 25 years of age or older.
- The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation.
- Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight at the property. Visitors are permitted only with the prior agreement of the owner.
- Parties, events, celebrations, stag parties, hen parties, and similar gatherings are not permitted.
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property.
- Quiet hours apply between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am out of consideration for neighbours.
- Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior agreement. Guests remain responsible for any pet-related damage, fouling, or additional cleaning costs.
- Electric vehicle charging from the property’s domestic electrical supply is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Commercial photography, filming, or use of the property for business activities requires prior written consent from the owner.
Failure to comply with these house rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.
Owner Cancellation
In the unlikely event that Carlton House becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, our liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid in respect of the booking. No further compensation shall be payable.
Acceptance of Terms
By making a reservation, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Booking & Cancellation Terms and House Rules.
